The Writing Club

What is the “secret sauce” of successful writing? Take this workshop to examine your writing process, extend what you already know, and practice improving at specific skills. We’ll explore our identity as writers and discuss several short, high-quality texts. Whether you write poetry, short stories, novels, essays, blogs, or YouTube scripts, we’ll provide constructive feedback on the quality and potential of each other’s drafts. Expand your horizons and develop your writing talent in this constructive seminar-style workshop.

Jacqueline Raphael

Jacqueline Raphael is a published author who works with teachers to improve writing instruction and with students to give them clear feedback and instruction on the essentials of powerful writing. She has developed and participated in innovative writing programs in Tucson, Washington, D.C, and Portland and currently manages the 6+1 Trait Writing and other professional development efforts at Education Northwest. She works online and in person with small groups and individual students, most recently as part of her youth life coaching program.
