Maurice Lekea

I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, formerly called Zaire, a French speaking country and where French is an official language. After high school I moved to France from 1980 to 2000.

Since moving to the United States in 2000, I have received a computer A+ Certification, studied Computer Network Administration and I became a Certified French-English Interpreter/Translator.  I have interpreted for hospitals, social services, city and state legal cases, private persons and organizations and have been a French Studio Coach for Rosetta Stone for 5 years.  I organized a fun French Meet-Up group that went for several years: a free French conversation group once a week for French speakers and French learners to practice the language.
