Join the master baker, Cheryl, and make some delicious shortbread cookies
You will need to have the following ingredients ready:
* 4 ounces (114 grams) granulated sugar
* 8 ounces (227 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
* 12 ounces (340 grams) all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* few tablespoons extra floor (to use when rolling out cookie dough)
You will also need a mixer or a large bowl with a hand mixer, rolling pin, cookie sheet, round cookie cutter ( or any shape you like), spatula, clean counter surface to work on.
Parents encouraged to participate with young chefs.
