Cooking with Kenya & Zora

Come cook and have some fun with Kenya and Zora.  Make Apple Fritters for breakfast or dessert, a Tuna Melt for lunch or snack, and Cacio a Peppe – a simple and yummy pasta for yourself, friends and family.
Dec 4 – Apple Fritters
Ingredients needed: ½ cup flour, ½ cup beer or club soda, 1 large apple or 2 small apples or pears, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar.  You’ll also need a fry pan and 1/3 to 1/2 cup of vegetable or canola oil to fry the fritters, a slotted spoon or spatula, a paper towel on a plate to rest fritters after cooking   
Dec 11 – Tuna Melt
Ingredients needed:  2 pieces of bread, one 6-ounce can of tuna, mayonnaise, 1 small dill pickle, 1 green or red onion, 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 fried egg, cheese of your choice, mustard-whole grain or your choice.  You’ll also need a frying pan.
Dec 18 – Cacio a Peppe
Ingredients needed: 6 ounces of pasta (your choice such as tagliolini, bucatini, or spaghetti), 2 tablespoons butter cubed & divided, 1-2 teaspoons cracked black pepper, ¾ cup grated Parmesan, 1/3 cup grated any hard cheese like asiago or pecorino.

Kenya Budd & Zora Budd

Kenya is Zora Li’s Mom, buddy, learning coach and Cocreator. When Kenya is not crafting she works as a DEI consultant for Companies across the PNW.
Zora Li is a student, a sibling to Elleona and a master dog trainer. She loves animals and Bob’s Burgers. Zora hopes to be a neurologist someday.
