Banfield Pet Academy: The Science of Loving Pets

A recent study revealed as many as 75 million pets in the U.S. may not have access to veterinary care in ten years, with an important factor being a shortage of veterinary professionals. Find out more about opportunities in the veterinary industry, get career advice, and hear how you can help make a better world for pets in this conversation with a Banfield certified veterinary technician. Students will receive a Banfield Pet Academy journal and pen upon registering for this course. Please register by Friday, June 4th to be able to receive the journal and pen.

Breone Alcox-McIntosh

Breone Alcox-McIntosh is a Practice Manager and Certified Veterinary Technician for Banfield Pet Hospital in the Philadelphia area. She graduated from Bethune-Cookman University in 2012 and Harcum College in 2017.  Breone’s favorite aspects of veterinary medicine are dentistry, anesthesia, and working closely with clients. She is passionate about the importance of veterinary care and loves to share the many different career opportunities available in the veterinary profession. Breone also has a very spoiled Staffordshire terrier named Isabelle, (aka Busy Izzy).
